Website Tips

These are the more hands-on posts, usually written after I've spent an afternoon figuring something out on my own site or a client's and thought it was worth writing down. Things like how to size images so your pages load quickly, how to build an accordion without any JavaScript, or how to use an SVG as your favicon.

A lot of it comes back to site speed and keeping things simple, because the chances are your visitors aren't all on fast WiFi. I try to explain why I've done something as well as how, and if you get stuck following along, pop me a message and I'll do my best to help.
